Channel Sales Executive – IT Hardware – Bangalore

Experience: 3-4 years

Job Summary:

We are looking for a driven Channel Sales Executive with proven experience in IT hardware sales to System Integrators (SIs), Resellers, and Channel Partners. The role focuses on onboarding new partners, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth through the channel ecosystem.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and onboard System Integrators, IT resellers, and VARs in the assigned territory.
  • Drive revenue through channel sales of IT hardware and workplace technology products.
  • Build strong relationships with purchase heads and decision-makers of partner firms.
  • Work closely with distribution partners and OEM alliances to expand reach.
  • Manage sales pipeline, follow up on leads, and close deals.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and provide accurate sales forecasts.
  • Maintain CRM records and report on channel performance.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Experience working with or selling through distributors such as Ingram, Redington, Savex, Compuage, Rashi, Neoteric, or similar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Purchase Manager in sourcing and procuring raw materials, products, and services as per company requirements.

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods; track orders and resolve discrepancies or delays.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (inventory, finance, production) to ensure smooth procurement operations.

  • Make plan for ordering of raw material and components
  • Issue PO as per plan & follow up with vendors for delivery
  • Negotiate rates with supplier & track prices of raw material
  • Co-ordinate with freight forwarder & CHA for imports
  • Report to the management about variation in physical & book balance
  • Check invoices of purchases
  • Assist Supply Chain manager in Inventory management
  • Will be assigned different tasks by the management on need basis
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance
  • Coordinate with internal departments (production, finance, logistics) to meet operational requirements
  • Resolve any procurement-related issues, including delays, shortages, or discrepancies

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience in Purchase department
  • Should have worked with materials like Steel, Aluminium & Plastic
  • Preference will be given to the employee who worked with ERP system
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of imports would be an added advantage.
